Schneider Electric Infrastructure Ltd — earnings calls

2 quarters summarised from transcripts filed with the exchange, every statement cited. Newest first.

Q1 FY27 earnings call

Schneider Electric Infrastructure reported Q1 FY27 order intake of Rs 915 crores, the highest ever for a quarter, with sales growth of about 5% year-on-year described as a typical soft Q1 start. EBIT came in lower at Rs 32 crores, with management attributing the margin pressure to commodity inflation, rupee depreciation, and negative operating leverage on fixed costs during the quarter. Management said the backlog stood at over Rs 2,100 crores, up around 33%, entering Q2.

Q4 FY26 earnings call

Schneider Electric Infrastructure reported FY26 order growth of 27.4%, sales growth of 9.6%, and profit before tax growth of 10.1%, with Q4 sales of Rs 590 crore roughly flat year-on-year. Management attributed the weak Q4 sales and margin performance to customer-requested delivery deferrals tied to geopolitical and commodity market disruption, alongside a rise in commodity input costs. Gross margin for the year declined versus FY25, which management linked to commodity cost increases and a shift in revenue mix toward lower-margin modernization and revamp projects.
