Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd — earnings calls
2 quarters summarised from transcripts filed with the exchange, every statement cited. Newest first.
Triveni Engineering reported Q1 FY27 revenue of Rs 1,581 crore, up 2% year-on-year, with EBITDA up 6% and a profit before tax of Rs 5 crore versus a loss in the prior-year quarter, following the demerger of its power transmission business into Triveni Power Transmission Limited. Management attributed the improvement to better sugar realisations and distillery margins, including lower maize procurement costs, partly offset by slower execution in the water business. The company also reduced standalone gross debt and its average cost of funds during the quarter.
Triveni Engineering reported consolidated FY26 revenue of Rs 6,291 crore, up 10.6% year-on-year, with EBITDA margins rising to 16.9% and net profit up 12.8% to Rs 268.7 crore. Management said the distillery segment posted a strong operational turnaround while the Power Transmission business faced a challenging fourth quarter due to order finalisation delays linked to geopolitical issues in West Asia. The composite scheme of arrangement demerging the Power Transmission business became effective on 19th May 2026 following NCLT approval, with listing of Triveni Power Transmission Limited anticipated by end of August 2026.
